Spent the weekend in Toronto and flew Porter, so what's so special about them anyways?
Pros:
Free glass of wine on a 45 minute flight...a healthy portion, just enough to calm your nerves
Tons of legroom...I'm over 6 feet and it was very comfortable
Friendly and courteous staff who are always smiling
Free shuttle to your downtown hotel
Free soft drinks and use of the Apple computers in the Toronto lounge...not to mention delicious coffee from an automated machine...
Very relaxed atmosphere..
Cons:
None.
Sure you could make the argument that nothing is really free and your paying for all those perks with your ticket, but in a day and age where customer service seems to be disappearing, Porter has done it right.
Thankfully I wasn't on this flight...
